08 March 09: CANZ Trust Fund Award
Yesterday I was awarded the 2009 CANZ Trust Fund Award for outstanding potential and achievement in New Zealand composition. The picture is of me with Glenda Keam (president of CANZ) during the award ceremony.

02 March 09: Two new commissions
I’m currently working on two new commissions that will be premiered in 2009. The first is a piece for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra to play during their masterworks series in May. The second is for Ensemble Selisih ( Flute, 2 Saxes and Piano) to play in their tour of New Zealand later this year.
